I have been a patient of Dr. Mao's for almost 4 years. I was referred to Dr. Mao by my previous optometrist after being involved in a motor vehicle accident which left me with some substantial vision issues. Dr. Mao's experience and expertise have allowed me to live a normal life again. He is very thorough with my examinations and takes the time to ensure that my prescriptions are just right. Dr. Mao's staff are also very helpful. I take comfort knowing that I will be dealing with the same enthusiastic people each time I call or come in. Booking an appointment is always quick, and easy, and Toni is very friendly. Corinne has been most helpful with ensuring my lenses are ordered correctly and notifies me as soon as they come in. I never have to worry about calling in for a follow-up. She is also absolutely fantastic at selecting and sizing frames. Until coming to Dr. Mao's office, I dreaded choosing frames. I could never find anything that both looked nice and felt comfortable. I now leave those decisions to Corinne, and never have I had a regret. I was also quite surprised by the prices of their frames. I've purchased frames from other optometrists before, and even now with requiring a more specialized prescription, I still pay less than I did before. Needless to say, when my son started Kindergarten last year, I brought him in to see Dr. Mao, and he now wears a cute pair of glasses to school.
